Norway Savings Bank, a leading mutual banking and financial services company, needed to improve their existing system as it was not working well for their needs. Pro AV Systems preserved their technology while adding additional equipment that made the system more user-friendly, more reliable, and transformed the room into a premium hybrid presentation and
conferencing space.
Project Overview
The goal of this project was to provide a room system that followed newly developed standards, which Pro AV Systems helped create, in a secure banking environment. While product availability was a challenge, working with the major suppliers helped to ensure project deadlines were met. In some cases, substituting or providing refurbished product placeholders until the actual product became available was the best solution.
Our Solution
Pro AV utilized Cisco WEBEX Rooms as the main component for video conferencing, video presentation, audio conferencing and control. We then married Cisco WEBEX Rooms with Crestron control system for advanced room controls through Cisco Touch panel. Biamp Audio processing was paired with Shure mic array technology to provide clear, intelligible speech from anywhere within the space. Finally, advanced capabilities for VTC, like speaker tracking and presenter tracking, were used to make it easy for end users to operate the system.
