At Pro AV Systems, we believe technology should enhance experiences, not complicate them. That’s exactly what we delivered with a full audio visual refresh for the Wayland Council on Aging, a space designed to serve the needs of the town’s vibrant senior community.
From large group activities to quiet library learning, our team installed smart, easy-to-use AV systems across multiple rooms, each customized to its unique purpose, while keeping accessibility and user-friendliness front and center.
Our Solution
The Activity Rooms at the Wayland COA are the heart of the building. These multi-use spaces host everything from fitness classes and educational talks to community meetings and social gatherings. To make sure the AV could keep up, we outfitted the rooms with:
- Samsung 85” Displays – Bright, crystal-clear visuals perfect for presentations, videos, and slideshows—visible from anywhere in the room.
- Biamp Conferencing Hubs & Microphones – Audio clarity is key, especially for larger groups. These systems make sure everyone hears, and is heard, clearly, whether in-person or joining remotely.
- Epson Projector with Draper Projection Screen – For bigger presentations or movie events, users can rely on vibrant projection with easy operations in some of the rooms.
- Listen Technologies Assistive Listening Device – Inclusivity was a must for this install. These devices help those with hearing challenges stay connected and engaged in every activity.
The result? A set of spaces that can adapt quickly to the needs of any event, with AV that feels effortless, even for first-time users.
In the library, simplicity and functionality were the focus. We installed a Clear Touch Interactive Panel, which offers a dynamic way to engage with content. Whether someone is pulling up a website, joining a Zoom call, or annotating a presentation, this panel makes it intuitive. It’s a great fit for a space where learning and connection happen daily.
First impressions matter. To help visitors navigate the building and stay informed, we installed a SpinetiX digital signage player paired with a display in the reception area. Staff can easily update messaging, highlighting upcoming events, building updates, and community resources. It’s a clean and modern way to communicate while creating a more welcoming experience for everyone who walks in.
