Pro AV Systems recently completed an impressive audio visual installation at Tufts University’s Hotung Café, transforming the popular campus gathering spot into a multimedia hub. The project combines AV equipment with thoughtful design to enhance the café’s ambiance and functionality for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
Our Solution
At the heart of the installation is a stunning Sony 98-inch panel, which serves as a focal point for digital signage, presentations, and event broadcasts. Its ultra-high-definition resolution and vibrant color reproduction ensure that content is visually striking and engaging, whether it’s showcasing campus updates, live-streaming events, or displaying curated programming for the café’s patrons.
Complementing the display are strategically installed QSC two-way surface speakers, providing superior audio clarity and coverage throughout the space. These speakers deliver a balanced sound profile, making them ideal for both background music and amplified presentations. The system’s sound quality is further enhanced by Lab Gruppen amplifiers, renowned for their power efficiency and reliability. These amplifiers ensure that audio performance remains consistent, even during peak usage.
To tie the system together, Pro AV Systems integrated a Biamp TesiraFORTE DSP server, a powerful digital signal processor that enables seamless audio routing and control. The TesiraFORTE server provides advanced audio processing capabilities, ensuring that the sound is optimized for various uses, from casual conversations to larger events. Its intuitive interface allows for easy adjustments, giving the café staff flexibility to manage the system effortlessly.
