Pro AV Systems recently completed an advanced audio-visual installation at the new Josiah Quincy Upper School, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the gymnasium’s sound capabilities. The project integrated top-tier equipment, including JBL speakers, Shure microphones, and a Middle Atlantic rack housing a Luxul switcher, to deliver a seamless and high-quality audio experience.
Our Solution
Central to the gymnasium’s audio system are the JBL Professional Series speakers, renowned for their exceptional sound reinforcement in large venues. These speakers ensure clear and powerful audio coverage, making them ideal for the school’s diverse events, from sports games to assemblies. Their robust design and superior acoustics provide consistent performance, enhancing the overall auditory experience in the gym.
Complementing the speakers, Shure microphones were selected for their reliability and clarity. To ensure efficient management and connectivity of the audio-visual components, a Middle Atlantic rack equipped with a Luxul switcher was installed. The Middle Atlantic rack provides organized and secure housing for all AV equipment, facilitating easy maintenance and scalability. The inclusion of a Luxul switcher enhances network reliability and speed, ensuring seamless integration and control of the AV systems. This combination allows for flexible operation and future-proofing of the school’s audio-visual infrastructure.
