Our Client
The Josiah Quincy Upper School (JQUS), located in Boston, Massachusetts, has recently unveiled its Black Box theater—a versatile space designed to enhance the school’s performing arts curriculum. After collaboration with Pro AV Systems, this theater is now equipped with advanced audio visual technology to support a wide range of performances and educational activities.
Our Solution
Central to the theater’s visual capabilities are a Da-Lite projection screen and a Panasonic projector, both known for their reliable image quality. The screen ensures that visual content is displayed with clarity, benefiting both performers and audiences. The theater’s sound system features JBL speakers, delivering clear and balanced audio suitable for various performance types. Complementing these are Point Source Audio microphones, which provide accurate sound capture, essential for both live performances and recordings. To facilitate recording and live streaming, the theater utilizes a PTZ Optics camera. This camera offers flexible positioning and control, allowing for dynamic coverage of events and performances.
