Assumption College, a private university in Worcester, MA, was looking to develop a new Health Sciences building to support its competitive interdisciplinary program through the School of Health Sciences. Pro AV Systems won this project as a bid through Lauring Construction, the Worcester-local contractor entrusted with the development.
Project Overview
- Project goal: to implement, install, and deliver the new Health Sciences building
- Challenges:The pandemic shut the site down for two months, but the deadline was not pushed back
- Everything was on the client network, entailing enormous coordination with Assumption IT on over 220 items
- Needed to coordinate with Laerdal engineers to install Laerdal equipment and troubleshoot any issues they had during commissioning
Our Solution
Pro AV Systems coordinated with Lauring Construction, Assumption IT, and Cavanaugh Tocci Associates to equip all classrooms in the new Health Sciences building with full audio visual technology. This included a recording system in the simulation labs for debriefing after lab exercises and over 40 rooms of audio visual design and installation.
